We injection mould small and medium technical plastic parts, in series, in Albignasego near Padua in Italy. Ten machines running from micro moulding up to 140 tonnes, and under the same roof also tape application and packing: on a finished part you do not need a second supplier and a second shipment.

The machines

RangeClamping forceWhat for
Micro mouldingfrom 6 tonnesTiny parts, fractions of a gram, where a normal machine makes no sense
Low range25 and 50 tonnesSmall technical components in long runs
Mid range80, 90 and 120 tonnesThe bulk of production, multi cavity tooling
Upper range140 tonnesLarger parts, or tooling with many cavities

The point is not the number of machines, it is the span of the scale. Between 6 and 140 tonnes in one plant you have everything a customer needs when the bill of materials has one tiny part and one normal sized one: no need to find two moulders, qualify two suppliers and manage two shipments.

Materials we run

FamilyMaterialsWhen it is used
PolyamidesPA 6.6, PA 6, PA 4.6Mechanical strength and temperature, our home ground
Filled polyamidesPA 6 with 30% glass fibreStiffness and dimensional stability
Flame retardant polyamidesFR and V0 gradesSpecifications with a fire class requirement
StyrenicsABSFinish and cost, where load is not the constraint
Engineering plasticsPOM, polycarbonateLow friction, transparency
PolyolefinsPE, PPChemical resistance and cost
Thermoplastic elastomersTPE, TPVSoft parts, seals, anti vibration

Other materials to customer specification. If you name the grade, we buy it and run it: we do not substitute a specified material with an equivalent without telling you.

The tooling: three different situations

We design the component, not the mould. The tooling can already be ours, it can be yours, or we can have it designed and built for the project. It depends on what you need to do.

  • Tooling already ours. If what you need resembles a part we already make, we start from there and there is no tooling cost.
  • Your tooling. If you already own the mould, we set it up and produce. This is the most common case when a company changes moulder.
  • Tooling to be built. We design the component and have the tooling designed and built for your part. It is an investment and the volumes have to justify it: we tell you before, not after.

What happens after moulding

This is what separates us from pure moulders, and it is not a side service: it is half of our daily work.

  • Tape application. We apply double-sided tape to the moulded part on dedicated machines. We run several tapes, from synthetic rubber to high performance acrylic, and we know which one holds on which surface: the comparison with the data is in the tape selection guide.
  • Packing. Loose, in counted bags, in boxes, with an automatic bagging machine.
  • Labelling with your part numbering, private label included.

What we are the right supplier for, and what we are not

We would rather say it upfront. We are set up for small technical parts in repeat series, where dimensional consistency and reliability over time matter more than the single batch.

We are not the right supplier for large parts, which our clamping force cannot handle, nor for a one-off batch of a few hundred pieces, where set-up cost outweighs the part and another type of supplier suits you better. If your enquiry falls in those cases we will say so, and where we can we will point you somewhere useful.

Quality

Quality system certified to ISO 9001:2015. In-process dimensional checks and raw material lot traceability: every moulded lot can be traced back to the granule lot it came from. REACH and RoHS compliance declared, IMDS on request.

Let us talk

Send us the part, or the drawing, or just a description with the volumes: we will tell you whether it is our kind of work and which of the three tooling situations you are in.
